What is it?
Hypnotherapy is a powerful technique that can help you regain control back over areas that you feel you have little or no control over. It can help change negative behaviours, break those restricting habits and change those limiting beliefs that have been holding you back.
Hypnosis is the medium used for accessing the subconscious mind. By creating a ‘heightened state of awareness’ through deep relaxation methods, the subconscious mind becomes open to accept beneficial suggestions that help promote positive change. It is where your inner resources can establish new patterns of behaviour to promote positive changes such as stopping smoking, control overeating, reduce anxiety, have control over phobias, and break destructive habits
By accessing these Hypnobites resources from the comfort of your own home you can begin to start making the changes you require and desire right away. Here at Hypnobites we are committed to helping you achieve your goals so you can become the best version of you and start living your life to your full potential.
How does it work?
Us humans are known to have one brain, but two minds. One of our minds is the ‘subconscious mind’ where everything you have ever learnt is stored - how you learnt to walk, how you learnt to talk, how you learnt to drive, how you learnt to run. Its a place where all your automatic resources are gathered, a place where your intuition, emotions, memories, habits and beliefs are stored.
The other mind we all have is the ‘conscious mind’ - it is the logical, rational part of you that processes information in order for you to make decisions. Information is filtered through to us through our 5 senses (touch, sight, smell, taste and hearing). Our conscious mind accepts and rejects information through these five senses and makes choices and decisions based on what we need at the time.
While the subconscious mind is always working (yes, even when you sleep), it obediently obeys orders from the conscious mind. If you let your ‘conscious’ thoughts run wild and let your imagination take over, the subconscious will deliver emotions, memories and feelings associated with that type of thinking. Its your subconscious way of protecting you and preparing you for whatever may lie ahead.
What can I expect?
Now would you be surprised if I told you that you enter into various type of ‘hypnosis’ a couple of times a day?
Have you ever watched adverts on TV and not even realised what you have been watching? Been so engrossed in reading an article or book that you haven't heard someone calling your name? caught yourself day-dreaming and all of a sudden snapped back into the here and now?
Its that state of ‘focused concentration’, where you ‘zone out’ and that automatic response takes over. We can also access it by closing our eyes and after relaxing the body, begin to ’focus’ on the internal thoughts and feelings we have around certain behaviours and actions.
The process of hypnosis is an overall a very pleasant experience as it only works and becomes effective if you are completely and totally relaxed - both body and mind.
